busy busy busy

I've been really busy over the last few days. Lots of sewing, taking photos and on the laptop. Hope you enjoy all the new posts here.

Had a good day yesterday when I popped into a lovely home and gift shop in Morningside, Edinburgh. I had a good chat with the owner of the shop and she was very helpful in giving me advice about selling to local retailers. She has kindly agreed to have a look at my handmade gifts and I'm hoping she will display some for sale in her shop. All I need to do now is put together a selection of gorgeous things. Watch this space for more info.

I also recently visited a local gallery not far from where I live. I think it would be a great outlet for me and I'll be visiting them soon to discuss exhibiting in the gallery.

That's all for now - must get back to my sewing machine!!!!

stem design brooch

stem design keyrings

I made a few of these for christmas presents but I do have some left - they're available now at http://www.rosyjojo.co.uk/.

I've been really busy over the last few weeks getting some ellie pictures ready to be personalised. They are now available in 2 sizes and are sold unframed but ready mounted.

The larger ones include more details and a bit more space for longer names.

chicks for morningside makers

90 little brown eyes later my chick tags are ready.

I have made 45 gift tags to send to the organisers of Morningside Makers. Morningside Makers run a successful monthly craft fair in one of my favourite areas in Edinburgh. The craft fair is on the first saturday of each month.

Each month the first 50 visitors are given a free promotional bag full of goodies from local crafts people. This gives us the chance to advertise to customers visiting the fair.
